My future job

I'm not sure, but i think that I would like to work in something related to the nature, maybe landscape architecture or also, something related whit structural and construction area, I mean, be in charge of the structural design of the buildings and their construction components (which material is more suitable to that building in particular, which constructive method is more appropriated, etc.), so, that's why may I would like to make a major in structures. Also, I have been thinking about the public area, working for example at the MINVU solving problems that involve the society in terms of densification, the life quality (at the spaces they inhabit), or making projects to better and help a community.

In general, that means that I would like to work outdoors, or at least going outdoors frequently, for example, visiting a construction site or going to the place where a project will be carried out.

About travelling in my job, I'm not very interested about going to another country, or travelling frequently. I'm more a home person, and I would like to have a stable job which not implies leave my home for a lot of time. I would prefer working exclusively in my country, which not means in Santiago, actually I got the plan of find a job in Valdivia (my hometown) or in any city of the south of Chile, and live there.

So, I'm not very worried about being a successful architect, that have been studying and working in a lot of place around the world, and that have a huge salary. I think that are others things in life that they matter more. I love what I'm studying (and I hate it sometimes) but I don't feel that it will the one and only thing that will make me happy.
