The decance of movies

The people use to talk about famous movies like if they were good ones, and despite of this relation sometimes is correct, there are exceptions.

I don't know if this is the "bad movies domination century", or if the society reduced their expectations about how is it supposed to be a good story (okay, good movies aren't only good stories). 

Also, nowadays with the emergence of series, it's complicated to create something sufficiently complete in only two hours, and the films industry has responded to that with  three differents strategies. One, taking old movie sagas and exploiting them, two, making new exiting teens's sagas, or creating interconected invidual movies. The last ones found their major price in Marvel superheroes movies, and even when these movies are very succesful stories with atractives characters, that is not enough to compite with the old cinema. Maybe in those times were more things to innovate (contextualizing in an old time), or less special effects, so the movie creators could be more creative, risky and focus on the real content of the movie.

So, if you ask me, I prefer watching a good actual serie, because, despite of it last too many hours, they can abord a real good story. An example of this, (and someting that will mark my life forever) is Breaking Bad, a serie that in my opinion have a good story that in some sense represent our times and our society, telling about how we fail trying to live a normal life in a corrupted world, and so we turn into corruption too.
